Faith is progressive. Faith never gets into a bad situation and says “im just going to sit here and die. Its over” faith never stands in the desert, having a pity party w/ everything drying up around it. You walk by faith. You don’t stand still, drowning in your misery. When you get in a wilderness, you keep walking, you keep going forward even if you’re only making an inch of progress with each step. Regardless of how gifted and talented we are. Even if most things have come easy.  We all reach a point where  feelings  of hopelessness and fear take over. That’s what Satan wants us to feel. But God says we can do anything with his help.

You can run from Gods mercy and grace. You can even be mad at him for situations that you are in. Its ok because unlike humans he loves us and forgives us regardless of how much we disobey him. Its called agape love. For once…don’t think about what’s going on in your life and how horrible it my seem. Instead give God another chance…he loves you more than you realize.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:5)

It is easy to give up on God and return to our sinful nature. The ways of the world are so appealing because of the fact that we can gain immediate satisfaction. But that’s the trick of Satan, its immediate but short lived. The rewards from God are eternal. They may not bring immdeiate fruit (although sometime he blesses us quicker than we expect) but when the fruit begins to blossom it lasts forever.

God doesn’t ask for perfection in fact all he asks is that we seek him. Today you may feel that because of failure God doesn’t want anything to do with you. That is so far from the truth. Seek 1st the kingdom of God and all his righteous and all things will be given to you. We all fall short of the glory of God, but its ok because His love for us is beyond all understanding. When making decisions today, realize He doesn’t want perfection, He wants us to seek Him.
